Menace To Society is alternative artists’ KHX05 debut self-produced album. The album is a story of resistance, rage, rebellion and reconciliation. Tackling transphobia, colonialism, addiction, police brutality, mental illness and more; the alt punk record is a message for the people that takes place in the past, present and future MTS represents triumphs over systems of oppression. The album takes listeners on a literal sonic journey from the electro rock n roll intro “Outlaw” which kicks off the album. There is a wide range of sounds as KHX05 introduces her Gullah Geechee ancestors, to more in depth jungle pop punk hybrid tracks on the project like “Bring it On” and “Freak It”. To even more obscure and menacing tracks like “Stormy Weather” and stand out track “Moxie”. KHX05 does not disappoint with this incredible debut displaying the alt punk artists’ versatility in songwriting as well as overall production. Slithering across genres MENACE TO SOCIETY is a resistance album for the ages! WELCOME TO THE CRUEL WORLDS OF KHX05.
