Recorded in Asheville, North Carolina in 2009 at my pal Gill Landry's place when I was passing through with Sundown Songs on the way to who knows where.

Message from Gill Landry about the record:
This is more a document than a record. A field recording of sorts. I met Kiki back in 2000 and back then we travelled a bit together and crossed paths many times. In 2009 she passed through Asheville where I was living and though I didn't have much recording gear, I asked if I could record her spontaneously, no production, because I always loved her songs and there were few recordings of them. It was really just for me. I found them on a hard drive last year and asked her if she'd like to put them out and here they are. These recordings are all first takes on an electric guitar which she wasn't used to playing but it was all I had on me, I'd also never recorded anyone before. I write this not as a disclaimer, just context. I think these songs are great and I think the performances are pure and real. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
