🌟From Stylist to Paralympic Athlete: Eunhye Cho's Remarkable Journey🌟 This June, we proudly welcomed to Bluebell Korea wheelchair fencing athletes Eunhye Cho and Huirie Ma, along with Coach Iljoo Choi, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives. Today, we are particularly excited to highlight Eunhye Cho, who will represent South Korea at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. 🤺 Before she began her journey in wheelchair fencing, Eunhye Cho had an impressive career as a stylist in the film industry, including working on Korean blockbusters like The Roundup. Unfortunately, her dreams as a stylist were cut short by a life-changing accident in 2017, which left her paralyzed from the waist down. But Eunhye didn’t give up. 💪 During her rehabilitation, she discovered wheelchair fencing, and her life took a new direction. After losing her first match, she achieved an impressive 3rd place in her very next competition. Through relentless effort, she is now ranked 3rd in the world in wheelchair fencing. As she departed for Paris on August 21, she shared her dream with us: "I want to hear the Korean national anthem resound in Paris. I’m preparing with the goal of winning a gold medal." Eunhye Cho is now shining brighter than ever, not on a film set, but on the world stage. We hope her passion and dedication will inspire all of us at Bluebell Korea to pursue our own goals with the same unwavering determination. 🌟 Exciting News from Bluebell Korea: Our Wheelchair Fencing Athletes Shine! 🌟 In June, 2 athletes and coach from the Seoul wheelchair fencing team joined Bluebell Korea. As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, these new Bluebell employees will continue to practice their sport, particularly during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, and they will promote the values of commitment, inclusion and personal achievement within our organisation. From July 19-21, Eunhye Cho and Huiri Ma competed in the 9th Sejong Mayor’s National Wheelchair Fencing Championship, proudly showcasing the Bluebell logo. Both athletes achieved remarkable success: Huiri Ma won a 🥉 bronze in sabre, and Eunhye Cho secured a stunning triple crown with 🥈 silver in foil and épée, and 🥇 gold in sabre. We are also proud to announce that Eunhye Cho has been selected to represent South Korea at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8.
