Bloomberg News has covered a partnership between Hashed and Hub71 in an effort of expanding Hashed’s footprint to Abu Dhabi, one of the hottest global crypto hubs, thanks to its advantageous regulatory environment. This collaboration aims to introduce more Korean startups to the United Arab Emirates, focusing on technology and digital assets. Additionally, we are looking forward to opening an office in Abu Dhabi and exploring opportunities. Through it's crypto-friendly environment, the UAE has been actively attracting crypto companies, with significant operations from Binance, OKX, and Nomura’s Laser Digital. Hub71's commitment of over $2 billion in capital for Web3 startups and blockchain technologies is a testament to this effort. Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Abu Dhabi's free zone authority, hosted a meetup to showcase Hashed’s investment and ecosystem-building activities and discuss opportunities for collaboration in the web3 industry with the UAE government and startups. Abu Dhabi, through ADGM, offers the most web3 startup-friendly regulatory environments in the world, and it was unusual for ADGM to invite private companies to host a meetup. The event was attended by many government officials and regulators, and there were many great questions as well. - How has Hashed managed to grow through the bear market? - What are Hashed's competitive advantages as a web3 VC? - How is the business environment in Abu Dhabi different and attractive compared to Korea? - What was it about Hub71 that attracted you to partner with them? - What can Hashed do to help Abu Dhabi become a digital hub for Web3?
