Transit Line has launched a regular route for the transportation of hazardous goods by road from Almaty to Moscow🚚 In Q4 2024, the company successfully delivered over 120 tons of Freon (R404A) in specialized cylinders secured on pallets, with a total transit time of seven days, including border crossing at MAP Mashtakovo. The shipment was carried out using five ADR-certified vehicles, with continuous monitoring and support from our specialists throughout the journey. 👉According to Yulia Seitmukhambetova, Director of Transit Line’s branch in Kazakhstan, the company recognizes significant potential in the development of freight transportation between Kazakhstan and Russia. 🚆On January 15, the first container train was dispatched from the «Dry Port Chaykovsky» terminal as part of Transit Line's multimodal export transportation. The train, consisting of 76 containers stuffed with beet pulp, is expected to arrive to Vrangel terminal in 12 days with further delivey to China by sea. The second train along this route is scheduled for dispatch at the end of January, and two additional trains carrying agricultural products are planned for February. The decision to launch routes from the «Dry Port Chaykovsky» was driven by the limited throughput capacity of major stations such as Yekaterinburg and Perm. 👉According to Oleg Shcherbina, Director of the Export Logistics Department at Transit Line, the terminal's key objective is to ensure a steady supply of empty containers and support seamless deliveries of regional enterprises' products. The terminal's strategic location at the intersection of freight flows from Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Tatarstan, and Perm Krai, combined with its developed infrastructure, facilitates regular dispatches of up to three trains per month.
