We've had a big idea recently: Inspect millions of parts, week after week, without a single error. 🔎 Sounds tough? Not for our experts who are driving digital transformation at Wieland. Our solution is powered by AI and driven by innovation. Wieland has always set the highest quality standards. But reflective copper surfaces have made inspections a real challenge. Together with our partner Capgemini, we developed an AI-based computer vision system to solve this problem. This deep learning model not only automates visual inspection but also continuously improves itself by learning with every piece it inspects. So far, the results have been impressive. More than 50 products are now ideal candidates for #AutomaticInspection, with more than 20 inspection cells ready for digital upgrades.

Welcome to the Wieland Group! We are proud to announce the acquisition of ONDA S.p.A., a leading manufacturer of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration solutions. Driven by digitization and sustainability megatrends, Wieland expects strong growth potential for shell & tube heat exchangers, as well as electronics cooling equipment. The main drivers are the rapidly increasing demand for chillers to cool data centers and the increasing power densities of electronics, which require cutting-edge technologies to remove the heat. It's official: we'll be net zero by 2045! The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated our long-term decarbonization target in July, which means our Scope 1, 2, and 3 reductions will contribute to achieving the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Climate Agreement. 🌱 Our short-term target, a 46.2% reduction in emissions by 2030 (compared to FY 2018/19), was already validated in 2022. We are on track to meet this bold target. The SBTi has also confirmed our long-term reduction objective of -90%. We're proud of this achievement and are committed to continuing to protect the climate. 💚
