🚨Small Craft Advisory🚨 The Cayman Islands National Weather Service has issued a Small Craft Advisory for the Cayman Islands today. Mariners, especially those operating small vessels, are urged to exercise extra caution in open waters this evening and throughout tomorrow, Thursday 10th October. 🌬️Winds: Southwesterly winds that were expected this morning have now veered westward as forecasted. A gradual decrease in west-to-northwesterly winds is still expected to begin by Thursday afternoon. 🌊Waves: Waves between 5-7 feet with westerly swells are currently impacting the southern and western coasts. These swells are expected to affect northern coasts by this evening. While Grand Cayman will experience the most impact, the Sister Islands may also be affected. Stay safe!
