  • 📢On October 17, 2024, Chairman of KASE's Management Board Alina Aldambergen, Deputy Chairman of KASE's Management Dana Amanzholova and Managing Director for IT, member of KASE's Management Board Yeldos Kuanyshbekov spoke at the VII Conference Capital Markets Kazakhstan. 🔸Alina Aldambergen spoke about trends in Kazakhstan's stock market, significant projects and events, key indicators and financial instruments of KASE, as well as international cooperation, attracting investors and IPOs and SFOs conducted on the exchange platform. 🔸Dana Amanzholova shared the latest trends in the corporate debt capital market, as well as the prospects for its development. In his speech, Yeldos Kuanyshbekov touched upon the topic of KASE's IT infrastructure, which is a high-speed trading interface and allows trading operations to be carried out using various financial instruments. 🔸In general, the event focused on topics related to Kazakhstan's financial market, macroeconomic forecasts, opportunities in the securities market, as well as the introduction of new technologies and artificial intelligence into the market infrastructure. 🔸Conference Capital Markets Kazakhstan is a unique platform for sharing experience between representatives of the banking community and the real sector of the economy.   • 📢Kazakhstan Stock Exchange informs about the withdrawal of Moscow Exchange from the list of KASE shareholders and termination of relations with it. 🔸The main shareholder of the Exchange is the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a stake of 47.0%. 🔸Previously, the partnership was concluded on the basis of a Strategic Cooperation Agreement. 🔸In addition, as of September 30, 2024, MOEX representative Vladimir Krekoten left KASE's Board of Directors based on his statement of early termination of powers.

    📢 On October 11, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange held KASE Talks with the participation of the Chairman of the Management Board of SAMRUK-KAZYNA JSC Nurlan Zhakupov. 🔸 KASE Talks was hosted by Chairperson of KASE's Management Board Alina Aldambergen. 🔸 During the event, Alina Aldambergen and Nurlan Zhakupov discussed current topics about the results of the program on privatization of assets of portfolio companies of Samruk-Kazyna JSC for October 2024, which is aimed at increasing the transparency and efficiency of asset management of the Fund. 🔸 They touched upon the topic of past and upcoming IPO/SPO and plans of Samruk-Kazyna JSC to attract foreign investment. 🔸 They also discussed projects to improve financial literacy and other significant projects that the Foundation plans to implement in the near future. 🔸 Since 2018, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange has been holding a series of KASE Talks programs with the participation of famous Kazakhstan's financiers and businessmen who have made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan's financial market and economy as a whole.

  • 📢On October 9, 2024, Yeldos Kuanyshbekov, Managing Director for IT and Member of KASE's Management Board, and Kamal Mambetov, Head of KASE's IT Strategy and Architecture Department, took part in the Tech conference Day 2024, Technology of the Future in Amsterdam (Netherlands). The following topics were discussed at the event: - Promising cloud solutions for exchanges and clearing houses using examples from such organizations as Abaxx Exchange and Aws (Amazon Web Services); - Case studies of cloud exchanges; - Technological threats and opportunities for exchanges and clearing houses; - Trends in data analytics and data management; - From green bonds to carbon ones and ESG 2.0. 🔸The conference featured such prominent guests as Chairman of the Association of Futures Markets Pat Kenny, co-founder and CEO of Exberry Guy Melamed, Member of the Board of the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) Hanzo van Beusekom, Senior Advisor, former President of ICMA – the International Capital Market Association René Karsenti, President of the Association of Futures Markets Chris Sturgess and others.

    📢Friends, KASE has launched an information and educational program for retail investors. It started on October 7 with the opening ceremony of trading in support of financial literacy improvement projects following KASE's joining the global initiative of the The World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions - IOSCO – Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy. 🔸The official online closing ceremony of the 16th annual KASE competition, the "Stock Exchange Simulator", will take place. It was attended by Deputy Chairman of KASE's Management Board Yermek Mazhekenov, Director of KASE's Issuers and Investors Relations Department Aziza Ordabaeva and Director of the Marketing Department of Freedom Broker Nina Nurambekova. The participants of the competition who generated the best investment portfolio by trading financial instruments were given awards. 🔸Also, from October 8 to 24, 2024, the Exchange is launching a series of free educational webinars "My Portfolio on KASE", in order to raise awareness of securities market instruments, on the following topics: - Introduction to the securities market; - Selection of shares; - Selection of bonds; - Selection of investment funds (UITs and ETF); - Introduction to the futures market; - Building an investment portfolio. 🔸From 10 October to 10 November 2024, KASE will also host a retail investor competition. Any investor can participate in it through their broker, a member of the Exchange. During the competition, participants must conclude at least two transactions to buy or sell shares from KASE Index's representative list. 🔸The winners will be awarded: for the 1st place – with an Apple MacBook laptop, for the 2nd place – with an Apple iPhone 15 Pro smartphone, for the 3rd place – with an Apple Watch Ultra smartwatch. The most active participant of the competition will receive an Apple Watch Series 9 smartwatch. 🔸In addition, KASE organizes fairs of Kazakhstan's brokers "KASE FEST" at leading universities of Almaty, Astana and Pavlodar.   • 📢On October 1, 2024, Alina Aldambergen, Chairperson of the Management Board of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, took part in the 18th Exchanges Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, at a panel session on the topic: "Financial Literacy and Inclusion in the Capital Markets of OIC Countries". 🔸During the event, KASE CEO told the audience that the Exchange annually spends significant resources on events aimed at increasing people's financial literacy, as this contributes to the development of the stock market and an increase in retail investments. The Exchange holds various events for retail investors, including the Retail Investor Competition on the Stock Market, the "Stock Exchange Simulator", KASE FEST, "My Portfolio on KASE" and other educational projects aimed at actively promoting financial literacy among Kazakhstan's people. She noted the importance of practical knowledge in managing finances and an investment portfolio to expand people's financial opportunities and sustainable economic growth as a whole. 🔸The discussion was attended by: Group CEO of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Abdulla Alnuaimi, Executive Vice President of Borsa Istanbul Güzhan GÜLAY. 🔸The discussion was moderated by Ali Kutan, Professor of Economics and Finance at Southern Illinois University. 🔸The OIC Exchanges Forum is a platform for discussing international cooperation activities among representatives of OIC companies and institutions and sharing experiences.   • 📢Deputy Director of the Department for Issuers and Investors Relations of KASE Nurken Bolatbek took part in the business brunch "Green Horizons: Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development in Kazakhstan", organized by the Creative Innovation Institute of the Central Asia Sustainable Development Fund. 🔸Nurken Bolatbek noted that the promotion of ESG standards and responsible investment principles, as well as raising the level of knowledge in the field of ESG in Kazakhstan is a fundamental area of KASE activities. As part of the development of ESG financing instruments, eco-entrepreneurs were presented with information on support programs for issuing "green" bonds on KASE. 🔸The Exchange takes an active part in the National Project for Support of Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship developed by "Damu" Entrepreneurship development fund JSC. This Program allows SME companies to raise funds through the issue of "green" bonds with a subsidized coupon rate. 🔸Bonds of 4 issuers have already been issued on KASE under this program: PC JET Group Ltd. (3 billion tenge) – For the purchase of electric scooters, Black Biotechnology LLP (2 billion tenge) – for the construction of a plant for the production of innovative bio-feed additives and fertilizers for the development of organic agriculture, KazWind Energy LLP (3 billion tenge) – for the construction of a wind power plant in the Qostanay region. A-cars LLP (500 million tenge) – for financing the project to launch an electric taxi service in Almaty.
