The Brandix Innovation team recently had the privilege of attending the Materials Engineering Symposium for Innovations in Industry (MESII) 2024 at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. It was an incredible opportunity to engage with the next generation of industry leaders, witnessing their groundbreaking research and sharing our feedback on potential solutions to industry challenges. Sharing their insights on the relevance of the final-year projects, colleagues Dinesha Somasiri and Yasith Jayasinghe, also had the opportunity to discuss potential industry-university research collaborations with undergraduates. A key highlight was the discussion on intellectual property (IP) rights, where our team emphasized the importance of safeguarding IP while strengthening research partnerships.
