As a proud gold sponsor of the prestigious B2B Luxury Connect organized by Boutiques in Sri Lanka on 30th April, we had the privilege of representing Sri Lanka's rich heritage and commitment to sustainability on an international stage. With over 300 small luxury properties and 400+ prominent travel agents and tour operators from around the world, including UK, Germany, France, Dubai and India, it was an extraordinary opportunity to showcase our property to a diverse global audience. Embracing this year's theme of sustainability, our displays featured eco-friendly materials such as repurposed coconut husks, wood, and rope, showcasing the rustic elegance of our natural resources. Souvenirs were thoughtfully curated, including branded cinnamon pencils and postcards of our property printed on recycled paper. As we continue to forge new partnerships and promote Karpaha Sands on an international scale, we remain steadfast in our mission to showcase the beauty of Sri Lanka’s eastern coast, while championing eco-conscious practices. At just 21, Thanush has become an integral part of our housekeeping team, working tirelessly as a room boy for the past three years. Starting as a builder during the construction of the resort, Amalan's exceptional skills and dedication quickly saw him transition to a permanent position. Though initially taking on the role of a pool attendant, his talent for electrical work, gained him a spot as a key player on our maintenance team. Now, as second-in-command of this vital department, Amalan ensures the smooth functionality of the resort.
