A day of Hope at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama,Sri Lanka (National Cancer Hospital) As we did in 2022 and 2023, let's show our loved ones at Apeksha Hospital some affection and gifts this year as well. We should also pray for their speedy recovery and spend the day with them. ❤️❤️ As we have done in the past, we are planning events for the September program at Apeksha Hospital. Below are the specifics and schedule for the day: 1. We are getting ready to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner to every patient at Apeksha Cancer Hospital in Maharagama on September 8. 2. By September 7th, kindly deliver the required materials and dry food items. 3. We will also be cleaning the hospital wards on September 8.You are welcome to attend alone or in a group if you would want to participate in this endeavour. These are the wards that we intend to clean: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20. Once a month, we hope to begin cleaning and continue with ward upkeep. The Google Sheet has a list of each ward's specific details. For each ward, a group of between 15 to 20 persons will be required. You are permitted to return to the same ward if you participated in prior cleaning operations. Please complete the Google Form for further information. 4.Like in the past, we also intend to offer a care package to every patient Items List - Toothbrush: 800 - Toothpaste: 800 - Baby soap: 800 - Sunlight soap: 800 - Tissue paper pack: 800 - Sanitary pads: 500 - Razor: 400 - Samaposha 200g: 800 - Jelly pack: 800 - Cream cracker 125g pack: 800 - Marie biscuit 80g pack: 800 - Sugar 1kg pack: 800 - Milk powder 400g pack: 800 - Tea 100g pack: 800 Please donate these items either as a complete pack or individually. The bank details for donations are included in this post and the Google link. 5. We also hope to organize a blood donation drive at Apeksha Hospital's blood bank. Anyone interested can join us. 6. Afterward, we plan to conclude the day with a Bodhi Pooja and interfaith blessing ceremony, and hope to provide the patients If possible, please join us. Those interested should reach out.
