    Collaboration Alchemist

Here's my 1st step toward helping the younger generation entering the workforce doing it with a bit of inspiration and support. It also coincides with my first experience teaching at a university! 🎓 It feels like a dream come true!! 🤩 On Monday I will in fact be meeting a class of 100 Bachelor students of Vilnius University Business School and together we'll explore "How NOT to waste our (project's) life". No, I have no plan whatsoever to patronize the younger generation from the astonishing height of my experience. No no, nothing like that. What I plan to be doing is to introduce them early in the careers to the concepts of Waste in a Lean sense (see what I did there? 😜 ) so that they can have a competitive advantage when the join the workforce. As the concepts can be a bit advanced and hard to grasp if kept purely theoretical I plan to have them experience first hand 3 or 4 of the Mudas. Yes, all the 100 together 🙀 As I love layering things, the hope is that through this experience they will also learn a new way to experience lessons. And that they will have an appreciation that work can and should be fun. And this is not all! It's actually just the first piece of how this year I have decided to sponsor #agiletourvilnius through VisAgi!! Thanks to 2 wonderful ladies Diana Borovik & Sandra Gabrielė Vileito who put a lot of effort in coming up with the idea and who organised everything so that things can happen seamlessly, we will then be choosing 5 students who will be given an opportunity to join for free the beautiful conference organised by Agile Lietuva in the following 2 days 🙂 And then what? Then I hope we will learn how to continue the conversation cross generations and maybe how to replicate & improve this experience. Because today there are invisible barriers and they hurt us. Time to find ways to break them down! 🧱
