  • Reminiscing on the first #BalticAutomotiveForum and the thoughts of Mrs. Hildegard Müller that today are even more important than they were yesterday.

🔹 Are Potential US Tariffs a Threat to Lithuanian Industry? 🔹 As a representative of the BACC, Baltic Automotive Components Cluster and the Baltic automotive industry, I was asked to assess the possible impact of US import tariffs. My key points: ✅ The tariffs are not yet confirmed, and their scope remains unclear. ✅ Most Lithuanian suppliers serve German, Swedish, or Italian HQs, limiting direct exposure. ✅ Tariffs will likely target end products first, with OEMs being the primary concern. ✅ A domino effect could increase pressure on suppliers for cost reductions. Despite the uncertainties, I have a very strong belief that the Baltic, especially Lithuanian businessmen and the government would once again prove to the world that even under these conditions, our business could take advantage and flourish and our GDPs might still grow. 👇 More from the economists and other industry representatives in the article, in the comments (LT). #BACC #europeanautomotive #tariffs #resilience #baltics #Lithuania #automotive #mobility Lukas Juozapaitis
