⏳ Deadline for registration for the face to face ORA (Organisational Role Analysis) Workshop on November 22nd - 23rd, 2024 in Vilnius is approaching! Don't miss and register 𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟕𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒! To confirm your participation please register here https://lnkd.in/g6HS_rDZ The 1,5 days face to face workshop with Dr. Markus G. Feil and Jurate Jurgiliene is for all those who have participated in Group Relations conferences. 🔵Location: in the center of Vilnius (the venue will be communicated later) 🔵Price: €270 for LGRS (Lithuanian Group Relations Society) members, €320 for non-members 📖 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 / 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫? ‘My first Group Relations conference opened up a whole new perspective on organisation for me. To do that, however, I first had to understand my confusing experiences there, which I was able to do with the help of theory. The theory and practice around tasks, processes and roles helped me to ‘design’ the rapidly growing organisation I was leading at the time in terms of new roles and how they interacted, for example when a second management level was added. I began to understand that and how dynamics from the organisation were ‘washed’ into the meetings with the new managers and what was also projected into me, who was now further away from the employees. I learned to pay attention to the interplay of the dynamics within me, within the management team and within the entire organisation, as well as the interactions. I often shared my thoughts and feelings in meetings with the leaders, so that we could reflect together on what ‘might be going on here’. From this, each of us was able to derive some options with regard to our own leadership behaviour.’ (D., Leader) 📖 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭? ‘When I am asked to do team coaching, I often start by talking to individuals and then to the whole group. I then compare the perspectives of the individuals with the dynamics in the whole team and try to understand what the unconscious, unthought aspect is that triggered the need for team coaching. Time and again, the dynamics in teams are understood more in terms of personal relationships and shared experiences inside and outside of work. I then often provide input on the role understanding of the systems-psychodynamic approach – with the role as an intersection of context, personality and system. This brings the focus to the primary task of the system, to subtasks of teams and individuals – and to the resulting problems, entanglements and conflicts within and between individuals, teams and the organisation. The known problems and phenomena can then usually be understood and dealt with much better at the level of role relationships.' • We are sharing with you invitation to LFA 2024 – Group Relations Conference DECISION MAKING, ACCOUNTABILITY AND LIVING TOGETHER 🗓️ DATE: October 11-13 2024 📍 PLACE: Casa Raggio di sole, Pasturo (LC), Italy Learning from action is at the core of this training. This involves exploring other languages as well as verbal language. The focus of this Working Conference is on making actions meaningful by considering them part of a different language. The idea of these Working Conferences originates in the early 2000s from the joint thinking and cooperation between Robert D. Hinshelwood and Enrico Pedriali and then carried forward by Luca MIngarelli . This type of conference is now an item in the Standard Quality Manual of Community of Communities and the project “Visiting” promoted by Mito & Realtà Association. The attribution of meaning to action becomes an essential working tool, not only owing to the dynamics present in all groups, but above all because of the difficulties encountered by most members of therapeutic communities in expressing emotion in words. 🔔In this edition will be activated the Training Group.
