Our Team went PINK for one special day🎗 On an overcast Sunday, the streets of Kaunas were painted pink, as the annual PINK RUN invited runners from all over Lithuania to join in the purposeful activity. Our team together with #ElementalHeroes ambassador Rokas Milevicius participated in a 5-kilometer challenge to support women with a clear message - WE CARE ABOUT YOU🤲 🍒Training, fantastically high spirits, and the joy of being together in the name of a noble goal didn't leave anyone indifferent. 🎗PINK RUN is a pink ribbon support run that has been taking place since 2014 to help the rehabilitation of women with breast cancer. The event has gained more and more support, with more and more teams joining each year. There is tremendous potential to supply the world market with products that our closest competitors may not be able to offer," in an interview to Verslo žinios says #Scandagra Group CEO Julius Puodziuvelis. 🌾 "The quality of our wheat is decreasing this is already a trend. When competing in the world market with the largest grain growers, we must maintain our uniqueness. The supply of high quality wheat is lower, therefore its price is higher. This is a competitive advantage for our farmers and also a solid financial win: the ratio between the additional investment and the return obtained by growing better-quality products is high and it is easier for traders to maintain markets where Lithuanian grain traders are established and valued by their partners. Searching for the differences in wheat autumn herbicides🌱 Many farmers already apply autumn herbicide spraying, which effectively regulates monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds in crops. As a result, nutrients are left for the crops and they bear the winter colds better. There are many different herbicides on the market, so which ones should our farmers consider? Last week we gathered to analyze the vast array of autumn herbicide products. We evaluated price differences and searched where good marketing overshadows product quality. We discussed the amounts of active ingredients in autumn herbicide products, compared the price to use rates ratios and compared the effectiveness of active ingredients 🤓 The basis of all autumn herbicides is flufenacet or prosulfocarb. As long as the registration of flufenacet is available, we recommend for autumn herbicides to choose products that contain flufenacet and diflufenican. This result has already been tested by our farmers: Komplet, Arnold, Cevino or their combinations with Adiunkt, Sempra. These products are highly effective against the main weeds found in the fields in Lithuania. #Scandagra #Agribusiness

Pre-season together with the teachers🎬 ✍ Educators from across Lithuania participated in the introductory session of the Lietuvos Junior Achievement shadowing program at Raudondvaris Manor. The session aimed to provide insights into the value of business shadowing visits. This hands-on experience is invaluable for young leaders to explore their dream professions and assess if that is the career path they want to pursue at the start of their professional journey. 🌱 We have actively supported the program for the past three years, and we were invited to share our thoughts. Our Head of Marketing, Nerijus Kalinauskas, took part in the discussion about the crucial competencies of modern youth. He emphasized that critical thinking skills, or the ability to "separate the wheat from the chaff," are highly sought after for any profession. 🍒Furthermore, former Junior Achievement participants shared their shadowing experiences, and their stories were eye-opening. It turns out that sometimes the expectations of enthusiastic young individuals don't align with reality and may lead to a change in career direction! 🙌 We wish the teachers success in the new shadowing season and look forward to welcoming enthusiastic young people to our office in Kaunas. #Education #Community

„I feel quite positive about the present harvest. In the 2023-2024 season, we purchased 14% more grain than the previous year.“, - says Marius Vasiliauskas in an interview to a local Lithuanian newspaper #DELFI. Marius emphasized that "there are estimates of up to 10% higher yields relative to last year. However, we noticed a reduction in grain quality, because of a reduction in fertilizer use across the country“. Read more in the article in the comments. 

The first wheat harvest is already on its way to Nigeria 🌾 On August 6, we loaded the first wheat ship of this season, mv YASA OSAKA. In total, 35,900 tons of Lithuanian wheat was loaded at the Malkų įlankos terminalas, UAB in Klaipėda. This season the harvest is early, but the unloading of the ships is also early. Although we have challenges with the quality of wheat, we have already loaded about 52,000 tons of Lithuanian wheat and rapeseed. We will soon be loading more!
