The Chamber of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania

Lithuanian Chamber of Agriculture is an umbrella organization, uniting various agricultural and rural NGOs and representing common interests of rural population. Our main activities are: • Representing the interests of rural population at national and international levels; • Promoting rural self-government, rural development and local initiative; • Providing farmers and rural people with teaching and consulting services; • Fostering farmers` co-operation; • Raising the competitiveness of agriculture. Our Mission is to promote intensification of agricultural and rural sectors, as well as Lithuanian rural community, and seek for solutions favorable for agriculture and rural development via dialogue with authorities. Our strategic goal is to encourage the activity of rural communities and develop their civil consciousness.
