#CarnetNoir C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous apprenons le décès de l’actrice belge Emilie Dequenne, à l'âge de 43 ans. Comédienne d’exception, elle a marqué le cinéma par son talent hors pair et son héritage cinématographique s’étend jusqu’au Luxembourg. C’est en 1999 qu’elle se fait connaître mondialement grâce à son rôle dans Rosetta des frères Dardenne, un film qui lui vaut le prix d’interprétation féminine au Festival de Cannes, tandis que le film y décroche la Palme d'Or. Elle a laissé une empreinte forte notamment dans des coproductions luxembourgeoises telles que A Perdre la Raison de Joachim Lafosse - projeté au Festival de Cannes en 2012, le film vaut à Émilie Dequenne le prix d'interprétation féminine dans la catégorie Un certain regard - et Möbius, d’Eric Rochant, toutes deux coproduites par Samsa Film. En 2023, Emilie Dequenne a brillé dans le film Complètement Cramé réalisé par Gilles Legardinier et coproduit par Bidibul Productions, où sa performance a une nouvelle fois touché les cœurs des spectateurs 🖤

Exciting moments at this year's 3'52 Max Pitching Sessions at Kinepolis during the Luxembourg City Film Festival! 🎬✨ The yearly event, aimed at the Festival’s professional guests, highlighted 8 Luxembourgish and international projects in different stages of production.
