Can a baby’s ability to perceive numbers predict their future math skills? According to the latest research by Dr. Decarli, the answer is yes! 👶➡️🔢 In an exclusive interview with Dr. Anna Schmitt, Dr. Decarli discusses her groundbreaking study, showing that infants as young as 12 months who have strong number sense are more likely to excel in math at age 4. This insight into early numerical cognition has huge implications for educators, parents, and researchers working to support children’s learning from the very start. 💡 Key Takeaways: - Babies' ability to perceive quantities influences later math success - Strong number sense develops before formal math instruction - Early interventions can help identify children at risk of math difficulties - Understanding these foundations could reshape early childhood education 🔗 Curious to learn more? 🌟 Exciting News from Curaçao! 🌟 This week marks a major milestone for Magrid Learning Solution as we begin a new pilot program in Curaçao, part of the Dutch Caribbean. Back in November 2024, we proudly signed an MOU with the Ministry of Education of Curaçao to bring innovative and inclusive education tools to their schools. The first phase of this 10-week pilot involves 400 students across 7 schools, including three special education schools. Last week, Daniela C. Merlano 🇨🇴 and I had the honor of meeting the school Directors of the participating schools and training over 40 amazing teachers, equipping them to use Magrid in their classrooms and make a meaningful impact on their students. If successful, this pilot will pave the way for expanding Magrid to all public schools on the island, further solidifying Curaçao’s leadership in the digital transformation of education in the Caribbean. This initiative aligns with the Ministry's goal of making data-driven decisions and providing tools that ensure quality education for every child, including those with special needs. A huge thank you to Nicole Wever, Samira Saab, and the Ministry of Education of Curaçao for their incredible support and vision. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for education in the region. 🌍 Curaçao is setting the standard for innovative and inclusive education in the Caribbean, and we at Magrid are beyond proud to be part of this journey. #EducationInnovation #Inclusion #DigitalTransformation #Curaçao #Magrid #QualityEducation #CaribbeanLeadership

This week marks the start of a new pilot program for Magrid in Curaçao 🌴, part of the Dutch Caribbean. In November 2024, Magrid signed an MOU with the Ministry of Education of Curaçao to bring our program to their schools 📚. The first phase of this 10-week pilot includes 400 students from 7 different schools 🏫, including three special education schools. Last week, we conducted training sessions for over 40 teachers, equipping them with the tools they need to integrate Magrid into their classrooms effectively 💻. If the pilot yields positive results, the program is set to expand to all public schools on the island, including more special education institutions 🌈. This will not only position Curaçao as a pioneer in digital transformation in the Caribbean 🚀 but also support the Ministry's goal of data-driven decision-making and providing innovative and inclusive tools for education 📊. Curaçao is now at the forefront of digitalisation and democratising the right to quality education for all children in the Caribbean region 🌍✨. 🙏We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Samira Saab and the Ministry of Education for trusting us with the implementation of Magrid in Curaçao♥️. Today, on the International Day of Education 2025, we celebrate this year’s theme: “AI and education: Preserving human agency in a world of automation” by showcasing inspiring initiatives that bring technology and learning together! At Aide à l'Enfance de l'Inde et du Népal (AEIN), we are proud to work with our partner Association for Rural Development (ARD) Kavre in Nepal, where innovative tools like Magrid Learning Solution are making a difference. Magrid helps boost cognitive development, enhances focus and concentration in mathematical learning, and empowers students to take charge of their learning journey—all while blending technology with personalized education. Children are not just learning; they are thriving in fun and engaging ways! On the other hand, ARD Kavre is also bridging the digital divide by empowering rural women in Bethanchowk with digital literacy training. From learning to message, navigate social media safely, and monitor their children's online safety, to mastering mobile banking, these women are gaining vital skills for a digital world. Led by the inspiring facilitators of Digital Heroes, this initiative is part of the QEP Phase II project, supported by AEIN. It ensures that as the world moves forward with AI, no one is left behind. This International Day of Education, let’s reaffirm our commitment to inclusive, human-centered education. Whether it’s children discovering math through Magrid or rural women exploring technology for the first time, we believe education should empower, inspire, and uplift everyone. #EducationDay2025 #MagridLearning #DigitalLiteracy #SolidarityInAction #AEIN
