We are excited to announce some of the new features that will be available in WellCAD V5.8.
WellCAD 5.8 expands the visualization capabilities with newly added chart objects and an improved 3D log display. As a powerful visualization tool, pie charts are introduced as a new diagram type within the Chart log functionality and as a Header Chart object. They can be used to illustrate the percentages of parts and categories in relation to a borehole, such as lithology or structure type distributions.

Lia Martinez will be giving a Primary and Secondary #Uranium #Exploration Workshop along with Guy Freemantle and George van der Walt of The MSA Group at the upcoming Society of Economic Geologists Annual Meeting. The conference and exhibition will be in #Windhoek, #Namibia from September 27th to 30th, 2024. The conference workshop is a full day long workshop taking place the day before the conference begins on September 26th. This workshop will focus on the geologic principals of uranium deposit formation, with the presenters’ experience influencing an Africa-centric approach, including downhole logging and #borehole grade estimation. Logic Geophysics is expanding our offering of downhole services to include magnetic susceptibility, resistivity, and induction in addition to work we already do such as gamma logging and downhole seismic (shear-wave profiling, crosshole, PS logging). I spent the day today training with Mount Sopris Instrument Co. on additional tools - what a great setup they have so we could mostly stand inside the air conditioning while working rather than in the 98F (!!) heat.

The NGWA #Groundwater week goes from December 5-9, 2023 and the AEMA meeting goes from December 3-8, 2023.
