🧑🔬 We attended the 50th EPS Conference on Plasma Physics in Salamanca The 50th EPS Conference on Plasma Physics organized by European Physical Society, was a great opportunity for scientists, researchers, engineers, and physics-empowered businesses to share, learn, meet, and discuss. It has been a pleasure meeting people from DIII-D National Fusion Facility, UC San Diego, Tokamak Energy, Firefly Fusion, Swiss Plasma Center at EPFL and other fusion companies and public institutions. Overall, we noted a substantial rise in ML-enabled projects in plasma parameters prediction and control, which we support and welcome. We’ve been consistent adepts of applying ML in fusion and happy to see even more people speaking about it. We’d like to thank everyone who visited us – Alexei Zhurba, Georgy Subbotin, Maxim Nurgaliev, and Eduard Khayrutdinov – at our stand and attended our poster sessions. Next week, we will attend the 50th EPS Conference on Plasma Physics in Salamanca 🇪🇸 Joining this event by the European Physical Society (EPS) is an exciting opportunity to both learn about the latest innovations and breakthroughs and share our findings. Our representatives Maxim Nurgaliev and Georgy Subbotin will present two valuable posters. The first will be devoted to validating synthetic magnetic diagnostics based on a free-boundary equilibrium solver for the DIII-D Plasma Control System. The second will focus on the conceptual design of a negative-triangularity tokamak electromagnetic system. 🧑🏫 You are welcome to attend these posters on Tuesday, 9th of July, and Friday, 12th of July. Throughout the conference, we’ll be demonstrating the capabilities of our Fusion Twin Platform, so make sure to save time for it in your agenda.
