We've welcomed over 300 new volunteers to our projects, who are passionate about giving back and creating positive change. Serve the City Luxembourg is thrilled to share the success of our recent CSR cleanup activity in collaboration with Allianz Luxembourg!! 🤝 For the second year in a row, the teams from Allianz Life Luxembourg joined forces with Serve the City to dedicate a day to keeping our city clean. Together, we collected an impressive 175 liters of trash 🗑 and 1800 cigarette butts! 🚬 This initiative is a testament to the importance of sustainability at the heart of Allianz's strategy. As insurers, they are at the forefront of seeing the impact of our actions on the environment and the community. 💚 We are grateful for the partnership and commitment of Allianz to making a positive difference in Luxembourg. Serving the community, where every small action counts! ♻️ We're thrilled to have partnered with Wolters Kluwer 🤝 for our latest CSR Minibotz activity, joining forces to clean up the beautiful Rives de Clausen area in Luxembourg. 💚 Our two teams, including the aptly named "Trashbusters", braved the sunny weather to collect an impressive:💪 - 𝟰𝟬.𝟱 𝗸𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 - 𝟭,𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘁𝘁𝘀 In a relatively clean area, they were still able to find some interesting items, including a microwave and a folding chair! Luxembourg, let's keep our country beautiful! 💡 Did you know that Luxembourg municipalities collect 𝟭.𝟲 𝗸𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿* 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 (Source: emwelt.lu). In total, this represents 1,500 tonnes of waste per year for the whole country! *litter: rubbish such as paper, cans, and bottles left lying in an open or public place. Luxembourg. One of the richest countries in the world, yet 19% of its people face the risk of falling into poverty*. Together with Serve the City Luxembourg a.s.b.l., our colleagues spent the day preparing and handing out lunchboxes - paired with a hot cuppa. The aim? To brighten someone’s day. We offered a friendly chat, a handshake, or simply a smile, because even the smallest act of kindness can go a long way.   “The #MilewayActs programme is our way of breaking down social barriers and challenge the assumptions we might make about others, particularly the most at-risk in our communities,” said Karolina Niemczyk, who proudly took part in our programme, together with: Saïda HAMMAR, Diana Jourdan, Nina Leclerc, André Gomes, Clément Wavreille, Cyril SERALINE, Benson R., Veronique Colson, Varuschka Zaayman, Dilara Mammadova, Jorge Navarro Rousseau, Laura Madureira, Gioula Galiatsatou, Sarah Benamar, Ermira D. and Georges Saade. *according to the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC) in 2023.

Serve the City Luxembourg and Ares Management Corporation joined forces for a successful cleanup event in the Obergrünewald forest, Kirchberg! 🌳🎉 The volunteers demonstrated their commitment to corporate social responsibility, collecting an impressive 47.4 kg / 245 liters of trash. We loved seeing the next generation of cleanup warriors in action, with two young volunteers already equipped with their own reacher-grabbers! 🌟 Special thanks to ARES for their collaboration and support.
