    👋 Meet Viktoria, who grew up in Trier and began her professional journey in Luxembourg. Her free spirit and passion for exploring new cultures led her on what was meant to be a nine-month adventure to Australia, but it quickly extended into two years, followed by four more years in Southeast Asia. During this time, she developed a wide range of skills, particularly her ability to connect with people. After six years abroad, Viktoria returned to Germany with a new perspective, seeking roles that prioritized purpose and people. With years of experience in HR, she joined Tadaweb in 2021 during a crucial scaling phase. Viktoria has been instrumental in establishing structure and guidelines in the HR department, while also leading projects that enhance the employee experience, such as our benefits and training platforms. Joining Tadaweb meant expanding her knowledge beyond Luxembourgish legislation to include three new countries. Although challenging at first, Viktoria embraced the journey with determination, proving that being open to new experiences fosters growth. Now, as a People Business Partner, Viktoria balances technical operations with fostering employee engagement and satisfaction. Her diverse experiences have equipped her with a unique talent for connecting with people, whether on-site or remote, ensuring a positive experience for all Tadaweb employees. Viktoria resonates deeply with Tadaweb's "Family First" value. She appreciates the genuine support and trust from the company, allowing her to prioritize family without judgment. For her, this value is not just a slogan but a lived reality at Tadaweb. Outside of work, Viktoria enjoys hiking in beautiful landscapes and discovering Europe’s hidden gems. She treasures quality time with friends and family and, of course, her kicker tournaments with the SRE team. Thank you, Viktoria, for your dedication and spirit!

    When you join a startup in its early stages, your professional growth often mirrors the company’s evolution. This has been the case for Christopher Jorda, our Release Manager. Chris joined Tadaweb nearly nine years ago when the team consisted of just eight people. At that time, the company was still finding its way—experimenting with ideas and exploring how to scale effectively. For Chris, this environment was a playground of possibilities, where endless ideas met exceptional technical talent. In those early years, Chris focused on honing his technical skills, diving deep into the work needed to build Tadaweb’s foundations. But as the company expanded—from a small team of eight to nearly 100 employees—the demands and complexities of its operations grew as well. Recognizing the need for more structured processes, Chris transitioned into the role of Scrum Master. Agile methodology had always been a part of Tadaweb’s DNA, and as a Scrum Master, Chris played a key role in embedding this mindset deeper into the company’s practices. As Tadaweb continued to evolve, adopting OKRs and working within a more strategic framework, another pivotal moment in Chris’s career emerged. With a clearer sense of direction and company-wide alignment, Chris transitioned into the role of Release Manager—a position crucial to Tadaweb’s scaling phase and its mission to deliver consistent value to customers. In his current role as Release Manager, Chris is responsible for ensuring that Tadaweb’s products are delivered smoothly, securely, and with the highest quality. This role is both challenging and rewarding, requiring Chris to anticipate the needs of a growing company and to implement processes that will support Tadaweb’s long-term success. Today, Chris is passionate about his work and finds deep satisfaction in contributing to Tadaweb’s purpose and growth.     Entering a new market with a fresh recruitment strategy is like embarking on a discovery. It involves extensive job market research and an understanding of the less tangible aspects of the #hiring process. Beyond the paperwork, legal requirements, and compliance, recruiters must grasp #cultural nuances to find the right talent.  A crucial aspect of hiring in new countries, whenever possible, is learning from those with prior experience in the target market. Employees who have worked in the target market can share invaluable insights on how people are looking for jobs, differences in work relationships, and potential pain points. This knowledge helps us prepare to not only convey what Tadaweb stands for but also to ensure that candidates feel comfortable and safe during interviews. Aurore, the Global Talent Attraction Lead, highlights the importance of entering new markets with an open mind and a human touch. She emphasizes the need for transparency with #candidates about our evolving market approach, pointing out that we are in a phase of discovery and setting new benchmarks. Her strategy is a hands-on learning-by-doing method: you learn, apply, adapt, and refine until you find the right formula. Aurore recalls the initial challenges of adapting her communication style when hiring in a new country. She had to be extra cautious and mindful of her cultural lens and biases, ensuring that her interactions were respectful and effective in the new cultural context. However, she soon realized that relationships are built on #human connections beyond cultural expectations. While cultural considerations are important, at the end of the day, most people seek fulfillment in their jobs, whether it's through the product, project, company culture, work-life balance, or values. In addition, let’s not forget that social media also plays a vital role in our talent acquisition strategy, especially when hiring in a country where we do not yet have a footprint. Platforms like LinkedIn serve as our open kitchen, where we can break down walls and showcase the essence of Tadaweb to potential candidates. Hiring is a process that, no matter how structured, always involves the human factor. This human element is crucial for connecting and building relationships with #talent from all around the world.
