Head of Corporate Communications

Our customer, a leading multinational Fast Moving Consumer Goods company, known for its high-quality products and commitment to innovation, is currently looking for a:

HEAD OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

Who will report to the Chief Institutional Affairs and Corporate Communications Officer and lead a team of 10 people with the mission to support and protect business growth by elevating Companies’ global reputation through effective corporate communications, leveraging on the media using earned, owned and paid communications strategies.

Goals and Tasks

• Define, develop and lead the execution of the Group Corporate Communications towards external parties
• Provide guidelines to the Area/Region/Country on how to implement the Group plans and policies
• Lead the Group press office
• Elevate the Group’s public profile and reputation with external audiences through effective corporate communications
• Elevate the overall competence level of communications professionals across the company worldwide
• Protect business reputation from minor issues to major crises
• Guide and control corporate reputation building globally, providing markets with clear guidance, tools and assets to direct and support a step up in local corporate communications
• In co-operation with the relevant marketing teams, drive greater impact for brand PR activities through deployment of coordinated campaigns and materials, in full alignment with the corporate reputation efforts

Requirements:

• University degree, ideally in Communications or International relations
• Relevant experience on similar Global roles gained working in multinational companies
• Strong experience in External Communications across all channels, media relations, media management, content creation, crisis management, corporate story-telling, knowledge of government relations and public policy a plus

• Fluent English, Italian as a plus
