Technology Twin (drip-off) varnishing allows to carry out selective varnishing without the manufacture of a special varnishing form. Due to this technology, you can get a specific decorative effect, which is often used in design, based on the contrast of the matte and glossy surface. It allows to create a multi-faceted relief of the picture, to select thin parts of the image, to give the impression individual tactile properties, to increase the wear resistance of the product. This technology is particularly convenient for printing companies that do not have a coating unit equipped with a chamber-doctor for the lacquer supply system. For the implementation of this technology in the production of sequentially located printing and varnishing sections. The varnish can be aqueous or ultraviolet curing. The greatest difficulty in implementing the technology is associated with tuning the machine in order to obtain the optimum effect. This technology is realized both on offset and flexographic printing machines with a section of UV varnishing, and on the machines with UV-varnishing machines with two printing sections using a pair of varnishes created by our specialists.
