Just wrapped up an insightful session with Stefan Weisenberger from SAP and Daniel Stuart from Southwire Company discussing the exciting potential of AI and automation! Key takeaways: - Companies need to invest into AI. The approach that works for Southwire is to run multiple PoCs to adapt quickly. - Automation and predictive analytics are the main contributed to a big part of Southwire’s revenue growth (demand and supply forecasting, intelligent factories, decrease barriers for entrance and quality of the workforce) - Manufacturers should focus on customer convenience. Southwire doubled their NPS with Commerce Cloud rollout and shift to EDI for customer requests. The energy here is 💥 Day 1 Highlights: It's been a joy to see familiar faces and catch up with board members and speakers. Equally exciting is meeting the new people in our community! Presentations💡: - Insights on SSC; - FIRE Framework from Adesso - "Multilevel Hybrid Systems Configuration of Components, Machines, and Solutions"; - Sergey Jermakov took the audience on a journey from the history of CPQ to CLARITY's current intelligent offerings. While I shared the real case studies – after all, while general system benefits are universal, each industry has its unique challenges, needs, objectives, and IT landscapes. - As we arrived a bit later today, weren't able to attend other presentations, but we'll have a chance to catch up on missed topics during the upcoming days.
