Yesterday, at the BREL Forum 2024 - Elemental Business Centre was awarded the People Choice award for Best Green Initiative. The people of Riga have recognised our efforts towards sustainability, as Elemental is first and only BREEAM Outstanding certified building in Latvia. Last year, the jury picked Elemental as best Green initiative also, as we are the first office building in Latvia to use ground source heat pumps as primary energy source. Elemental Business Centre, the newly built office rental complex in Riga's Skanste district, has signed a rental agreement with French food producer Danone. The document provides that the company's representative office in Latvia will lease office premises on the 8th floor of the Elemental Blue building with a total area of more than 600 m2. Danone is one of the world's leading food groups, offering dairy products, plant-based products, beverages, baby foods and medical foods. The group owns brands such as Alpro, Activia, Actimel, Aptamil, and Nutridrink. The new Danone office in Elemental Business Centre is scheduled to open at the end of this year, when the company will move from its current location in Jaunā Teika. "Danone is a company with a quality mark, whose brands are among the most recognisable in Latvia. As the company regularly focuses its communication on promoting various sustainability solutions, these values should be clearly reflected in its image. The office is part of the company's image, part of its brand, so it is important that it represents that message. It's no coincidence that we prioritised high energy efficiency and sustainability performance at Elemental Business Centre, because we believe that for modern, forward-looking companies like Danone this is just as important,” said Imants Kreslins, the Sales Manager of Elemental Business Centre. "When looking for office premises, it was important for us to find an environment that provides both team productivity and collaboration, as well as sustainable solutions. Augstākais “Outstanding” novērtējums norāda, ka projekts ir izpildījis vismaz 85 % BREEAM standartu. Līdz šim augstākais novērtējums BREEAM novērtējuma līmeņos Latvijā ir bijis "Excellent", kas BREEAM standartu skalā atbilst vairāk nekā 70 %, bet ne augstāk par 85 %. Elemental Business Centre, has been awarded BREEAM Outstanding, the highest level in the BREEAM rating scale. We are currently the only project in Latvia with such a high rating. The Elemental Business Centre has so far obtained the BREEAM Excellent level Interim certification, which only a few new projects in Latvia can boast. Imants Kreslins , Sales Manager of the Elemental Business Centre, points out that all possible measures were taken from the very beginning of the project in order to achieve the highest Outstanding level. BREEAM certification ensures that buildings meet high standards of energy efficiency and sustainability, providing solutions that are friendly to the environment, building users, and residents. The highest rating of “Outstanding” indicates that the project has met at least 85% of BREEAM standards. Until now, the highest BREEAM rating in Latvia has been “Excellent”, which corresponds to a score of more than 70% but not more than 85% on the BREEAM scale of standards. Read more in the link below

Beautifully captured Elemental Business Centre

#TenantsofElemental: On the 6th floor of the Elemental Blue building, the logistics and transport company Fracht SIA is located, which moved to the Elemental Business Centre in March of this year. Fracht is a logistics and transportation company that provides smart supply chain management and vehicle delivery solutions. The company has developed a specialized vehicle transport management platform that allows to easily track and manage the logistics process, from requests to delivery. In the 300 m2 wide office, 12 professionals work every day, providing the highest quality services in the logistics field. In the future, it is possible to expand the number of workplaces, providing them up to 18 specialists. Interior designers say that this is a very bright, cozy and modern office, just as Fracht envicioned it. The Narbutas Lietuva team, led by the project manager Alisa, ensured that the design choices and functionality were well integrated, resulting in an impressive final project. Designer Elzė, who worked on this project, explains that she followrd the saying "The straight line belongs to man, the curved line belongs to God". Since there are no straight lines in nature, the office interior features predominantly round shapes, complemented by light, muted colors and the use of natural materials in some areas. We have concluded an office lease agreement with peat companies Nordagri and Hortimed, who moved to the office complex already at the beginning of May. The office premises of both companies are located on the 7th floor of the Elemental Green building, occupying a total of 282 m2. The transaction for the lease of premises took place in cooperation with the real estate agency Kivi Real Estate. Nord Agri develops peat substrates, while Hortimed offers ecological and innovative growth promoters produced from local freshwater lake silt. The activities of both companies in providing renewable resources are in line with the sustainability values of the office rental complex, so there is especially great pleasure with the new tenants.
