A modern building with a historical character The former building of the Riga cargo railway station in the territory of New Hanza has been reborn as a concert hall, a platform for culture, art, music and other events. By combining the building's more than 100-year history with a modern approach to daily processes, an efficient and functional space has been created for comfortably hosting and enjoying events. After the reconstruction, the building has preserved its historical form, becoming another reference to the rapid industrial development of the city, and in its new form has turned into an important cultural destination in Riga.

Citiem vārdiem - stāsti, uzkodas un mūzika svētdienas pēcpusdienai ar kuratores un kino kritiķes Dārtas Ceriņas stāstījumu par mūzikas sastapšanos ar kino, launags kā tā laika Odesā un Dzigas Vertova filma “Cilvēks ar kinokameru” ar Bena Šemija (Ben Shemie) un Mārtiņa Kuzmina veidotu muzikālo pavadījumu.

String of events marking the 5th anniversary of the renewed ‘Hanzas Perons’ event space will launch on August 3rd by ‘Gordoniada’ - four evenings and one night at ‘Hanzas Perons’ with live performances of composer Michael Gordon’s chamber music cycle for same instruments in a landscape created by the artist Andris Eglītis.
