Back-to-school season is here! Congratulations to all students, especially those starting their first year of school! 📚 🎒To support our employees, Rimi has provided special gifts for their first-grade children. In total, 244 young scholars across the Baltic have received new school bags to help them start the year right!

Family days at the #RimiLatvia office! 🥳 🎉Every end of August, #RimiLatvia employees and their children are invited to the Rimi Family Day. What does this mean? Kids can spend a full day at their parents' or relatives' workplace, enjoying various activities, and being introduced to the retail world. 💡There was something for everyone from crafting workshops and puppet shows to VR experiences, science demonstrations, silent discos, and tours of our premises, including our logistics centre! 🤩 This event allows kids to explore their parents', grandparents' or relatives' working environment, spend quality time together, and create lasting memories before the autumn schedule begins!

"We are delighted that our long-standing work, which began in 2007, to integrate people with disabilities into the labour market has been recognized internationally, and being shortlisted for the "Zero Call 2025" award, is a valuable appreciation of the work that has been done for many years,” says Rimi Lietuva HR Manager Vaida Kaikarienė. The international non-profit organization, The Zero Project, focuses on researching and sharing innovative solutions that support the rights of people with disabilities worldwide. The Latvian Olympic Committee (LOC) hosted a special fan event on Monday, inviting fans to meet the athletes who represented Latvia at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. ⛹♂️ 🏐Fans were invited to gather at the Rimi Olympic Center in Riga to thank the athletes for their dedication and performance. The event offered a chance for fans to meet their favourite athletes - 3x3 basketball players Francis Gustavs Lācis, Zigmārs Raimo, and Nauris Miezis, beach volleyball player Tīna Graudiņa, BMX freestyle rider Ernests Sēbolds, and track and field athlete Līna Mūze-Sirmā. Fans could get autographs, compete in various sports-themed activities prepared by Rimi, and even try out athletes' favourite snacks from Rimi. 🏃♀️ Let's be active and enjoy a healthy lifestyle!

First #RimiMicro store at the Rimi Latvia office has been opened! 🛒 The new Rimi Micro stands out with its modern, customer-friendly design, and a carefully curated assortment of around 70 different products all based on detailed sales data and internal survey analysis. We’ve focused on offering a variety of top-selling dry food items, snacks and treats, fast food (noodles), hygiene products, tights, delicious Rimi private label ice creams, as well as various drinks. "We have opened a Rimi store in the Rimi office, which is the smallest store in our portfolio with a completely new concept. This is a pilot project that will definitely help us get even closer to our customers in the future. The store operates only in self-service mode. It is small, but a lot of work had to be invested to develop a new concept, and we are pleased to pass it on to our colleagues for testing," said Akermanis Andrejs, director of the Rimi Latvia supermarket chain. The Latvian Olympic team is bringing their favorite local tastes to Paris!🇫🇷🏅 #RimiLatvia is supporting Latvian Olympic team on their journey to Paris with special goodie boxes from local producers. 🥳📦To ensure our athletes have all the energy they need for their competitions, Rimi and the Latvian Olympic Committee surveyed the team to find out their favorite snacks that help to boost their energy! 🔋💪 Garlic bread toasts, traditional candies such as “Gotiņa,” “Serenāde,” “Vāverīte,” Rāmkalni dried fruits, oat cookies, “Skrīveri” protein bars, and many more tasty goods from local producers are only a few that were chosen by the athletes. 🍞🍬🍪🍫 We also asked society to share their suggestions for the perfect Olympic energy boost. Wholemeal bread, dairy products, beloved local sweets like Laima and Skrīveri, and, for sure, honey for the sweet wins! 🍯 So Rimi is sending 63 kilograms of tasty treats to Paris to help our athletes conquer the competition. We're confident that these familiar flavors will provide the comfort and energy they need to shine on the world stage.
