Due to the expansion of our school campus, we are seeking the following teachers for the upcoming Academic Year: History English Geography Physics Chemistry Mathematics All candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in a related field, have at least 2 years of experience as international teachers and preferably hold a teaching licence (B.Ed, CELTA, PGCE etc) Candidates should be fluent in both written and spoken English. Candidates should be able to supply at least two up to date and recent references. The main responsibilities of our teachers will be to: Teach inspiring, challenging and enjoyable lessons Work with other colleagues to constantly share, reflect and improve on classroom practice Follow the curriculum prescribed by the school Work with other colleagues to develop the curriculum Regularly assess students’ work and provide high quality feedback Report regularly and in detail to parents Salary & Other Benefits Salary is paid in USD (cash) monthly, on a qualifications and experienced based scale. ISM International School began in 1956 as the Oil Companies School. Originally set up to educate the children of oil company executives and diplomats posted to Libya, ISM is now the oldest international school in North Africa, and has served the residents of Tripoli and Libya for 65 years.
