Prof.Lahoucine Atourki delivered a keynote speech at the SEEnergy Conference: Sustainable Energy & Electrochemistry organized by the MSN Department at UM6P. Prof. Atourki presented the lab's work on synthesizing various nanostructures and earth-abundant materials for energy conversion. He highlighted how the lab's extensive expertise in photovoltaics can be used to produce hydrogen, either by integrating these materials as electrodes in photoelectrochemical cells (PECs) or by coupling photovoltaic systems with electrolyzers. #Energyconversion #PV #HydrogenProduction #PECs #Electrochemistry

This year has been a remarkable period of achievement for our lab. Over the past months, we have been involved in numerous activities, and it is time to celebrate the dedication and hard work of our members, professors, PhD students, and researchers. Let's start with the publication of an outstanding review paper titled "Electrolyte Additives for Bulk-Type All-Oxide Solid-State Lithium-Ion Batteries" in the prestigious Journal of Energy Storage. In this paper, Otmane Zoubir, a PhD student at the MANAPSE Lab, along with his co-authors, explore the impact of oxide solid-state electrolyte additives on the electrochemical performance of all-solid-state lithium batteries using high-voltage cathodes and lithium metal anodes. Congratulations to Othman and the entire team for this significant contribution to the field of energy storage! Read more 👉 https://lnkd.in/eNWrszpA
