The National Agency for the Development of Oasis Zones and Argan Trees (Andzoa) today hosted a presentation of a new study conducted in #partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The #study aims to develop a comprehensive framework for measuring both carbon emissions and carbon sequestration within the date palm and argan tree #ecosystems. According to Latifa Yaakoubi, the general director of ANDZOA, "This study will provide the technical tools necessary to accurately assess the #environmental impact of these vital sectors." Manal Benchlikha a Moroccan artist, unveiled yesterday her two-year music project, "Arabian Heartbreak," at a glamorous ceremony in Casablanca. In an interview following the launch, Benchlikha shared her vision for the album, explaining, “The album is a pop album with a lot of Moroccan sonorities and a lot of Moroccan sounds we try to dig from the past. And it's a global album. That's why We worked with a lot of international producers.” The album delves into themes of heartbreak and the struggles women endure, drawing inspiration from both personal experiences and societal pressures.
