More than a year after its expected 2020 release, A Quiet Place Part II is coming to theaters.

The thrilling sequel to John Krasinski's 2018 horror film, which is once again written and directed by Krasinski, follows the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe) on their quest to seek safety while fighting off deadly sound-sensitive monsters.

The final trailer serves as a reminder that although some time has passed there's still a whole lot more of this terrifying tale to tell. In less than two adrenaline-packed minutes of footage we get contextual glimpses of the pre-apocalyptic world, more close calls between the Abbotts and the life-threatening creatures, and a look at several new characters (including a man named Emmett, who's played by Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy).

A Quiet Place Part II hits theaters on May 28.
