About us
Created in 2006, the Monaco Chamber of Shipping represents and defends the interests of players in the Principality's shipping industry. Through its actions, the Chamber contributes to strengthening the representativeness and development of this important sector for the country's economy, as Monaco has become a hub for international shipping over the last few decades. The Chamber brings together 45 members (shipowners, brokers, shipping agents, advisors or experts in maritime law, etc.), whose activities represent all facets of maritime transport, from cargo to cruise ships and commercial negotiations. The Chamber represents the shipping industry at various official events in the Principality. It is also a founding member of the new “Monaco Academy of the Sea”. The Chamber is also affiliated to the Monaco Business Federation (FEDEM), a social and economic partner representing the Principality's employers in all sectors.

Monaco Shipping Summer Party 2024 On Wednesday 12 June 2024, from 7pm to 10pm, the Monaco Chamber of Shipping, Propeller Club Monaco, YoungShip and Wista are jointly be organizing the “Monaco Shipping Summer Party” at the Monte-Carlo Country Club. This cocktail party is free for Members of the 4 organizing associations (Euro 100 per person for guests). Ce mercredi 3 avril, le Bureau Syndical de la Chambre Monégasque du Shipping a reçu Laurent ANSELMI, Président de l'Académie de la Mer de Monaco (A2M), qui a présenté les missions de cet institut francophone basé en Principauté dont l’objectif principal est de dispenser des enseignements plurisciplinaires visant à permettre une meilleure connaissance des mers et des océans, des problématiques et des enjeux qui y sont liés, et in fine mieux les protéger. On Wednesday April 3, the Board of Directors of the Monaco Chamber of Shipping welcomed Laurent ANSELMI, President of the Académie de la Mer de Monaco (A2M), who presented the missions of this French-speaking institute based in the Principality, whose main objective is to provide multi-disciplinary teaching aimed at improving knowledge of the seas and oceans, the issues and challenges associated with them, and ultimately to better protect them. La Chambre Monégasque du Shipping et son Président Sébastien Knecht de Massy ont participé à l’événement by @blumorpho et @air monaco sur le thème du "Financement de l'innovation et des infrastructures maritimes pour le climat et l'océan", qui s’est déroulé le jeudi 21 mars dernier, au Yacht Club de Monaco, dans le cadre de la « Monaco Ocean Week ».
