At #FRV, we are at the forefront of this energy revolution, actively exploring the applications and benefits of green hydrogen and its derivatives in various industrial sectors. 🤝 Our commitment to green hydrogen is reflected in our participation in key initiatives, such as the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance, where we collaborate to promote the development of this technology and its global adoption. Additionally, we are constantly researching new ways to integrate green hydrogen into our renewable energy projects, maximizing its positive impact on the transition to a more sustainable future.

So exciting to see the extraordinary effervescence around renewable hydrogen and maritime mobility on full display at the Yacht Club de Monaco a few days ago — and very exciting to see Monaco truly becoming a global hub of the hydrogen sector (and glad that the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance is at the center of this). The hydrogen future is real, it’s happening and the pace of innovation is set to skyrocket. Bravo to Bernard D'ALESSANDRI and his great team at the YCM and to H.E. Bernard Fautrier and Olivier Wenden of the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco for understanding the importance of hydrogen, particularly in the maritime sector. And dockside right downstairs from the proceedings of the Hydrogen Roundtable, I loved seeing the sleek Spanish-built hydrogen-powered MadBlue Marine boat, powered by 40kW modules from France’s amazing Genevos, winners of the Alliance’s 2022 Monaco Prize for Innovation in Renewable Hydrogen and Transportation. John Rossant, President of the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance, gave a keynote speech July 5 at the 5th Monaco Hydrogen Round Table, during the Yacht Club de Monaco's #Monaco Energy Boat Challenge. John outlined the emerging #innovation ecosystem around renewable hydrogen, underscoring some of the #challenges facing the sector such as lack of #infrastructure and high renewable energy #costs, particularly in Europe. But, as John pointed out, “the innovation cycle in hydrogen is only now taking off, sparked by the tsunami of resources flowing into it.” Many thanks to the Yacht Club de Monaco for the special invitation, we were grateful for the fruitful discussions and one-on-one meetings with entrepreneurs and sector experts.
