3D Printing Advanced Maxillofacial Anatomical Models: The base and bone were 3D printed using Formlabs Model Resin V3. The soft part was cast in silicone and characterized. The mold was also 3D printed with Formlabs. The prototype is based on a facial scanner. 6 hours of virtual work, around 1.5 hours to print using the Formlabs Form 4 printer (5 hours with the Formlabs Form 3), and 30 minutes for the silicone to cure. This patient case was performed by Omar Bouhelal Schirmer from SPHENO ID for CHU de Nantes in collaboration with Julien Montenero from REALETEE SPHENO ID is today the market leader in France for biomimetic 3D printed bone models for maxillo-facial applications. Leveraging 20+ years of experience, Spheno Id has expanded its offering to Augmented and Virtual Reality content and applications to empower the next generation of highly specialised surgeons. Julien Montenero has been creating custom 3D facial prostheses for over 20 years. Since then, he has been looking for ways to divert his techniques to offer the REALETEE solution. The combination of his know-how and current digital tools allows him to materialize this project imagined for years and to create this unique product. It is a true global innovation in the field of external breast prostheses. Credits to Omar for the design and casting concept and Julien for the incredible characterisation skills and printing.

Nous n'avons pas pu résister à l'envie de lui demander ses impressions, alors on vous raconte tout 👇 Avec 165 000 visiteurs et plus de 2 milliards de follow-up de l'événement sur les réseaux sociaux, VivaTech est le salon incontournable pour une startup innovante ! Mais VivaTech a également permis à Spheno ID de toucher un public plus jeune Pour rappel, Spheno Id crée des produits biomimétiques hyperréalistes et du contenu immersif en réalité virtuelle et augmentée (AR/VR) pour accompagner l'apprentissage de la médecine et de la chirurgie.
