If you snooze, you lose, but at this concert in the UAE, if you snooze, you win. Bringing a new way to chill and relax, the Theatre of Digital Art in Dubai is hosting a unique sleep concert where you can sleep during the show.
Taking place at Souk Madinat Jumeirah on February 18, 19 and February 25, 26, 2022, the digital art venue is combing a live musical concert with soothing light and video art to induce audiences into a ‘psychedelic state.’
The event will begin with music and minimalist abstract light and video elements to mesmerise the audiences, and soothe them.
Transporting the listeners into a relaxed state, minimalist abstract light and video art that will transport you into a relaxed state. In the second hour of the concert, the music will get slower and deeper to relay a sense of calm and induce them into slumber. Lastly, in the final hour of the concert, audiences will be exposed to a more upbeat note to gently awaken the audience and leave them feeling refreshed.
To make it even more comfortable, visitors will be led to a personal ‘sleep space’ within the venue, in the form of a cosy bean bag chair. They will also be provided with a soothing herbal tea, for extra relaxation.
Aiming to help audiences find some hidden part of their consciousness that helps them relax as much as possible, the concert’s live music idea will make the audience sleep, bringing much-needed relaxation.
Priced at Dhs150 for a regular ticket and Dhs200 for a premium ticket, guests at the event can also expect the concert to adapt according to their mood.
To ensure optimum comfort, guests are suggested to wear comfortable clothes and expected to switch off gadgets, turn off notifications and learn about a new form of music and art.
