Termed as the 'Instagram experience,' this augmented reality (AR) filter is a part of NASA's initiative to bring the captivating beauty of nebulas, galaxies, stars, and meteors to the palm of your hand. Known as the "Instagram Chandra" experience, it offers a distinctive perspective of the universe that was previously only accessible through high-end telescopes.
This AR filter also showcases popular space phenomena such as stellar remnants and various cosmic gas clouds, where numerous stars actively form. Additionally, it commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Chandra X-ray space telescope project, which was launched on July 23, 1999.
To explore various 3D filters on your smartphone using the Instagram app, adhere to the steps provided below.
To begin, launch the Instagram application and locate the page named 'NASAChandraXray' by conducting a search.
Next, tap on the effects icon situated at the upper section, which will be identifiable by a logo featuring three stars.

Subsequently, you will be presented with a collection of five distinct AR filters. Pick your preferred one and opt for the 'Try it' option.
