The new speculation suggests that it will be available next month, introducing a range of new features and enhancements across Samsung smartphones, including the flagship Galaxy S24 series, in select regions.

As reported by SamMobile, the release of the One UI 7.0 Beta update has been delayed due to issues on Samsung's side concerning the expected rollout of the One UI 6.1.1 firmware for its devices. The update is now projected to be available in the third week of August.

It is rumored that a revamped quick panel will be introduced, featuring two separate pages for control toggles and notifications. Users will have the ability to navigate between these pages by swiping horizontally. Additionally, it is reported that users may have the option to conceal the labels of the toggles.

The update is also expected to bring updated icons for stock apps like Camera, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, and Phone, which will have a more three-dimensional look to align with the Material You design language.

Additionally, the animation indicating the battery charging status is said to possess a widget-like appearance. In the One UI 7.0 Beta, notifications are expected to adopt a more rounded design.

According to the report, enhancements to the Continuity feature may also be implemented, allowing nearby Samsung devices to receive notifications for voice and video calls.

The report indicates that the One UI 7.0 Beta update will be launched initially for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, which includes three models. It is expected to first become available in South Korea, after which it may be distributed in Germany, India, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Additionally, the update may also be extended to the Galaxy S23 series.
