This year, GoPro is set to introduce two new action cameras. The Hero 12 Black was launched in India in September 2023. GoPro has confirmed the launch date for these two upcoming models. One is anticipated to be the GoPro Hero 13 Black, while the other seems to be a more compact camera.

Additionally, a hands-on video showcasing the Hero 13 Black has surfaced. In a post on X, GoPro announced that the launch event will occur on September 4 at 6 AM PT. The accompanying video hinted at the design of the two new action cameras, although the company has not officially named them.
Based on the teaser, it is reasonable to conclude that one of the cameras is the GoPro Hero 13 Black, with the other likely being a smaller mini action camera.
A promotional banner on the official GoPro website has confirmed the upcoming unveiling of two new cameras. Additionally, a similar banner was found on the gppro.in website, indicating that the new action cameras will be launched in India on the same date.
Tipster Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News) has shared a hands-on video featuring the GoPro Hero 13 Black, which displays the camera's screen alongside the "13 Black" designation next to the camera sensor.
The right edge of the camera features both the power/Mode button and the "13 Black" branding.
Previous reports suggested that the GoPro Hero 13 Black is expected to maintain similar camera and recording functionalities as the current Hero 12 Black model.
It is anticipated to feature a 27-megapixel sensor, enabling 5.3K and 4K recording at frame rates of 60 and 120 frames per second (FPS), respectively.
