🌍 Emirates now operates in Madagascar 🇲🇬 ✈️ The first Emirates flight connecting Dubai to Antananarivo landed at Ivato Airport on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 3:21 PM. ✈️ This inaugural flight was celebrated with a ceremony at the airport, attended by His Excellency Mr. Andry Rajoelina, President of the Republic, as well as Malagasy and Emirati government officials and representatives from the private sector. ✈️ Emirates now serves Madagascar with a Boeing 777-300ER, equipped with 360 seats. This new air link between Antananarivo and Dubai opens up opportunities for tourism in Madagascar and provides access to new markets. To mark the occasion, several tourism operators, tour operators, influencers, and international media participated in this inaugural flight to explore the country’s tourism treasures. 🎯 As part of its mission to promote the Big Island, the Madagascar National Tourism Board (ONTM), in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts (MTA), organized famtrips and press trips for these tourism professionals, content creators, and international media.
