In anticipation of World Savings Day, we organized an educational event aimed at enhancing the financial literacy of young people, on the topic "Inclusion of Young People in the Domestic Capital Market." 👏 During the event, young people connected with experienced experts from the finance sector and engaged in discussions about: ✔ Launching a rewarding career in the capital market ✔ Investment opportunities in Macedonian securities ✔ Effective personal finance management After an opening address by Ivan Shteriev, Chief Executive Officer of the Macedonian Stock Exchange, attendees heard motivational speeches from: 🔹 Petar Andreevski, Chief Executive Officer of WVP Fund Management 🔹 Tatjana Bojkovska, CFA, CAIA, Member of the Management Board of Sava penzisko drustvo a.d. At the Macedonian Stock Exchange, we are dedicated to enhancing the financial education and literacy of young people. 👏 To achieve this, we collaborate with educational institutions to organize training sessions, workshops, and lectures on a variety of topics. 🤝 This week, students from University American College Skopje had the opportunity to learn more about: ✅ The foundation, history, and operations of the Macedonian Stock Exchange ✅ Institutions that function within the capital market ✅ Investing in securities On October 30th, we will also host a motivational and educational event titled "Inclusion of Young People in the Domestic Capital Market". 🔔For the fourth year in a row, the Macedonian Stock Exchange joins the global initiative "Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy" 🎯On this occasion, on 16.10.2024, a round table was held on the topic "Youth and finance: Are we improving financial literacy and independence as a society ?"
