Today, we are excited to announce the acquisition of Shtip in North Macedonia, which gives us the rights to develop and build an additional up to 400MW of wind capacity in the Western Balkans! This groundbreaking project will help reduce CO2 emissions by 670,000 tons each year and, once built, will generate enough clean energy to power over 100,000 households annually. This project will play a pivotal role in enhancing the energy security of the #Westernbalkans, mitigating energy shortages and bolstering the transition to renewable energy across the region. Speaking at the launch in Skopje, our Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Daniel Calderon, highlighted the significant impact of this investment: “This project will provide North Macedonia with much-needed clean and affordable electricity while also creating lasting local jobs.
