Disney Dreamlight Valley The Storybook Vale Expansion Revealed; Part One Out November 20
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s second expansion, The Storybook Vale, has just been announced, and it’ll be a two-parter update with the first arriving next month.
Disney Dreamlight Valley The Storybook Vale Introduces More Familiar Faces
As revealed during the Disney Dreamlight Valley showcase, The Storybook Vale will be available starting November 20. It’ll be broken up into two parts, with the first part adding the following content:
- New magical main story
- New friends to meet and befriend, including Merida, from Disney and Pixar’s Brave, Flynn Rider from Disney’s Tangled, and Hades, from Disney’s Hercules.
- Three new Biomes to explore
- New Royal Net tool
Elsewhere, for those not interested in any paid content, the studio also confirmed that a free update will be made available on December 4, adding a bunch of free content.
- Sally from Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas joins the Valley;
- A brand-new Frost & Fairies Star Path that embraces the ethereal side of the season;
- Floating Islands, a new gameplay feature that gives players special areas, parallel to the Valley, where they can freely decorate while preserving the layout of their existing Valley.
The showcase also gave us a small tease of the roadmap for both the Storybook Vale expansion and their planned free content that’ll dip into the first half of 2025.
Lot’s of exciting new content to look forward to, and so soon, as The Storybook Vale is set to release on November 20, with the first planned free update arriving on December 5 for all players.
