TCL Extends Partnership With Activision, Becoming the Official TV and Sound Bar for Call of Duty Black Ops 6
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is now officially available worldwide, and while our review is still brewing, I think it’s safe to say that this year’s iteration is a resounding hit. With perhaps its biggest singleplayer and most comprehensive multiplayer to date, Black Ops 6 might just be the biggest shake-up in the series, bringing many upgrades that’ll have fan ravings. Though speaking of upgrades, with Black Friday and Christmas being right around the corner, it may be time to finally upgrade those TV and sound sets, and lucky for you, TCL has announced that they are once again working with Activision, becoming the official TV and soundbar brand for Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
TCL’s Latest Gaming Television and Sound Bars Have Everything You Need to Up Your Call of Duty Game
For the sixth consecutive year, TCL has been named the official TV and soundbar brand for Call of Duty, and it’s just in time with both the launch of Black Ops 6 and the holiday season being around the corner. While it’s easy to say and hype yourself up as an official partner to something, we had the chance to put TCL’s claims to the test in our recent review of the TCL QM7 and let’s say that they’ve excelled in all our expectations, proving that you don’t need to cost an arm and a leg, to deliver a premium gaming experience.
So, at least to us, the news that Activision is extending their partnership isn’t so much of a shocker. However, it certainly makes for an exciting one, as their gaming line is readily available to take full advantage of all Call of Duty Black Ops 6 offers.
“Recognition of TCL’s superior technology as a Call of Duty partner since 2018 is a badge of honor. From the beginning, we have focused on enhancing our TVs with innovative features that help create the best possible gaming experience,” said Scott Ramirez, Vice President of Product Marketing and Development, TCL. “For TCL, it starts with key gaming capabilities such as fast response time, 144Hz VRR, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). In 2024, TCL TVs take gaming capability to an all-new level with QD-Mini LED that ensures clear game detail in dark scenes, our amazing Game Accelerator 240 that provides up to 240 VRR capability for blistering fast gaming, and an advanced Game Bar that puts the gamer in full control. All of this is available in a wide range of TCL TV screen sizes up to an incredible 115-inches.”
“Six years ago Call of Duty made the decision to work with TCL TVs. We’re proud to continue expanding the partnership, adding TCL’s sound bars to the fold last year, as we launch our highly anticipated title Call of Duty: Black Ops 6,” said William Gahagan, Senior Director of Global Partnerships & Integrated Marketing, Activision. “Call of Duty immerses gamers in a completely different world and TCL helps bring that to life for the community with vibrant picture that’s responsive and powerful audio.”
No surprise that Activision wants to continue this partnership, especially considering what TCL’s latest gaming line has to offer when it comes to Call of Duty and other games. As a living room gamer, be that on console or PC, I can tell you firsthand that being able to game at 120 FPS VRR on a television larger than 65 inches, with near-perfect blacks and crystal clear images, is an absolute game changer and TCL helps makes that possible with their mid-range priced televisions.
With Black Friday and other holiday savings coming up, now might be a good time to finally look into getting a QLED, and for Call of Duty players, who better than TCL?
