IFS Partners with FQM Kansanshi and Kansanshi Golf Club to Empower Youth and Build a Brighter Future. At International Facilities Services (IFS), we believe that our work goes beyond business—it’s about uplifting the communities we serve. We are proud to partner with FQM Kansanshi and the Kansanshi Golf Club to nurture young talent through the Kansanshi Junior Golf Academy, where over 80 young golfers are not only honing their skills but learning life lessons that will shape their futures. Recently, IFS sponsored a successful golf day tournament in collaboration with FQM Kansanshi and the Kansanshi Golf Club, which brought together 90 participants to celebrate the sport and the incredible work of the Junior Golf Academy. During the event, IFS Project Manager Kelvin Phiri emphasised how golf serves as a powerful tool for instilling values like discipline, perseverance, and teamwork—skills that will benefit these young players long after they leave the course. To further support this mission, IFS proudly contributed K30,000 to the Junior Golf Academy—an investment that signifies more than financial backing. It’s our commitment to fostering the future leaders of the community. By partnering with FQM Kansanshi and Kansanshi Golf Club, we’re helping to provide opportunities for young athletes to develop the skills, confidence, and leadership qualities they need to succeed both on and off the course. “Our sponsorship of junior golf is part of our broader commitment to community development,” Phiri shared. “By investing in young golfers, we’re not only helping them grow as athletes but equipping them with life skills that will serve them in any endeavour. Through sports, we foster leadership, resilience, and purpose—traits that will guide these young people throughout their lives.” Kansanshi Golf Captain George Nzoma expressed his gratitude for IFS and FQM Kansanshi’s support, highlighting the impressive growth of the academy and its goal to expose young golfers to competitions across Zambia. IFS also recognizes the dedication of the coaches and mentors who passionately guide and inspire these young talents. This collaboration with FQM Kansanshi and Kansanshi Golf Club reflects IFS’s ongoing commitment to community upliftment, creating opportunities for youth, and using sports as a platform for positive change. Together, we are building a stronger future for both golf and the wider community. #CommunityImpact #YouthDevelopment #IFS #CorporateSocialResponsibility #FQMKansanshi #KansanshiGolfClub #JuniorGolf #EmpoweringFutureLeaders #SportsForChange

In a groundbreaking partnership, IFS Tanzania has joined forces with the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) to launch an accredited training programme specifically designed for the mining, oil, and gas sectors. 🇹🇿👩🏭🚀 This initiative aims to address critical skill shortages, empowering youth and women to build sustainable careers in industries that were once male-dominated. 💪 “This is not just about offering internships or vocational training,” said 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗴𝘄𝗲, Majority Owner of IFS TZ. “It’s about creating pathways for young Tanzanians—especially women—to step into roles that have historically been inaccessible to them.” At the heart of this partnership is a vision for a future where Tanzanians, especially women, step into roles historically inaccessible to them. From practical training to dual accreditation, we’re not just preparing young people for jobs but for long-term careers that will shape the nation’s economy. “By aligning our training modules with the real-world needs of the industry, we are preparing students not just for jobs but for long-term careers,” explained Natasha Main, Chief People Officer at IFS Group. As 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗵𝘂 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻 continues to champion female-led enterprises and youth development, IFS Tanzania is proud to contribute to these national goals. Together with VETA and industry leaders, we’re building a sustainable pipeline of talent to fuel Tanzania’s growth. Stay tuned for updates as we pave the way for Tanzania’s future workforce, creating opportunities for all, especially women, to thrive in the mining and energy sectors. #IFSAfrica #ClosertoHome #CommunitySupport #YouthEmpowerment #TanzaniaDevelopment #IFSPartnership #SkillsForTheFuture #WomenInMining #EnergySector #VETA #TanzaniaLeadership
