📢Africa RISE final event was yesterday ! ✅After 4 years of implementation, the #EU #Africa RISE Facility will be officially closed in December 2024. To celebrate the programme's achievements, on November 6th, 2024 Africa RISE and INTPA hosted a closure event “The Rise of Africa RISE: What can we learn from the implementation of the EU Africa RISE Facility” 🎯The objective of this event was to share learnings, talk about the Facility model, the results achieved, including contribution towards the #GlobalGateway, the partnership model that underpin our work, highlighting key takeaways for INTPA, #EUD, and other projects could take on beyond. 🌍💡 Did you know that around 502 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa lack valid identification, preventing access to essential services and full participation in society? International Economics Consulting Ltd, through its CEO, has developed a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework for the West Africa Unique Identification for Regional Integration and Inclusion (WURI) programme. This World Bank-financed initiative, currently implemented by Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, Togo, and the ECOWAS Commission, aims to increase the number of people with government-recognised proof of identity, facilitating their access to services across borders. EU Africa RISE (Reform for Investment and Sustainable Economies) Facility was a 4-year programme, implemented in consortium with Landell Mills, Adam Smith Europe and Imani Development. International Economics Consulting Ltd was involved in various initiatives from developing digital markets, empowering women entrepreneurs, and promoting e-commerce, to fostering regional value chains and enhancing trade competitiveness across the region.
