Electric Power Generation

We develop technology solutions that empower the individual and community.

About us

What we do changes and varies. But we answer this one question: What technologies can we bring to this process, this place, this tool, this way-of-doing things, that would allow the individual, enterprise or community to achieve much more than is possible today? We aim to infuse technology into the most mundane as well as the most sophisticated of human activities. Some things we can do: - Waste to energy solutions -gigawatt-scale power plants ... We aim to use technology to enhance and amplify the human experience.

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend a workshop on Illicit Trade in Johannesburg, South Africa, organized by ICOYACA. The workshop highlighted how illicit trade significantly impacts Africa’s economy, contributing to loss of revenue, market instability, and hampering development efforts. This topic is particularly relevant to entrepreneurs like myself, as it underscores the need for stronger enforcement and regulation to create a fair and competitive business environment. The workshop also allowed me to network with a diverse group of delegates from across Southern Africa, exchanging insights and ideas on how to combat these challenges and build stronger, more sustainable businesses. As an entrepreneur, I found this experience invaluable in broadening my perspective on market dynamics and understanding how illicit trade disrupts sectors that are vital for growth. The connections and knowledge gained from this event will undoubtedly shape my approach to business, helping me navigate challenges while contributing to solutions that drive economic resilience and sustainability across Africa. #Entrepreneurship #IllicitTrade #ICOYACA #BusinessGrowth #Networking #AfricaEconomy #Sustainability #SouthernAfrica

It was a beautiful day today as we hosted guests from Tradeline Consultancy in collaboration with USAID 🇺🇸 at our office in Mzuzu. They came to appreciate the work we are doing in the renewable energy space and the positive impact we're bringing to the community. It was a great opportunity to showcase how our efforts are driving change, and we also explored the potential for future collaboration on some exciting projects we’re looking forward to undertaking together. Partnerships like these are key to making a lasting difference in the communities we serve.

Exciting Visit from USAID🇺🇸 to KCHKNA's Offices. Today, we had the honor of hosting a delegation from USAID at our KCHKNA offices. Their visit was an incredible opportunity to showcase the impactful work we're doing to drive sustainability and innovation in Malawi. One of the highlights of the visit was our Waste-to-Energy project, where the team had the chance to inspect our biogas system. This system is a cornerstone of our mission to create a cleaner environment while providing clean cooking solutions to communities. The USAID team was keenly interested in how our biogas initiative not only helps in reducing waste but also addresses critical issues like deforestation and air pollution caused by traditional biomass cooking methods. They recognized the potential of our project to improve the quality of life, especially for women who often bear the burden of collecting firewood over long distances. At KCHKNA, we're proud to be at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions, turning waste into valuable resources that empower our communities. This visit reinforces our commitment to scaling up our efforts and making a lasting impact. #USAID

We're thrilled to announce that our technology and renewable energy company has successfully installed biogas systems at the Msilo dumpsite in Mzuzu in collaboration with #Ecogen. This project is a significant step forward in our mission to promote sustainable and eco-friendly solutions. With these new biogas systems, the people who look after the dumpsite will now have access to clean cooking solutions. Previously reliant on firewood, they faced health risks and contributed to environmental degradation. Our initiative not only provides a healthier alternative but also helps protect our environment by reducing deforestation and carbon emissions.
