Capitanes es el primer equipo latinoamericano dentro de la NBA G League. Fundado por Moises Cosio en 2016 y participó en el torneo organizado por NBA en Uruguay junto con equipos de talla internacional. Su principal objetivo es revivir con fuerza la pasión de los mexicanos por el deporte ráfaga, poner en alto a México y Latinoamérica dentro de la escena competitiva del baloncesto internacional y promover la práctica del baloncesto entre niños y jóvenes. Sobre NBA G League La liga menor de la NBA, la NBA G League prepara jugadores, entrenadores, oficiales, preparadores y personal para la NBA además de servir como laboratorio de investigación y desarrollo. Con 28 equipos con filiales con equipo de NBA para la temporada 2019-20, la liga ofrece basquetbol profesional de gran calidad a un precio accesible en un ambiente divertido y familiar. El cincuenta y dos por ciento de los jugadores de la NBA han tenido experiencia en la NBA G League. Para fomentar la conexión de la liga con la comunidad, sus equipos, jugadores y personal promueve un estilo de vida saludable, apoyo a las necesidades e intereses locales, asistencia en desarrollo educacional a través de programas de NBA Cares. Los juegos de NBA G League se transmiten por los canales de ESPN y por NBA TV.

    Capitanes is looking for a new: 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Mexico City 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼: General Manager and Head Coach 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲: 24-25 G League Season (6 months) 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 Three of our last athletic trainers have found opportunities in the NBA and also the G League as Oscar Garza now collaborates with Sacramento Kings, Jovany Perez with Austin Spurs and Gianni Millan with Birmingham Squadron. 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 This is a pivotal role in managing player health and wellness, aiming to provide Athletic Training Services - including but not limited to sports injury management, acute injury management, and injury prevention programs - to athletes in accordance with the NBA G League’s Athletic Training practices. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀  - Provide medical coverage for all practices and games, both in Mexico and while in the United States for the Mexico City Capitanes.  - Manage the prevention, assessment, immediate care, treatment and rehabilitation/reconditioning of athletic injuries of players.  - Coordinate the players’ return-to-play protocols with the athletic performance staff, team physicians, and coaching staff.  - Evaluate athletes' readiness/willingness to play and proficient in day-to-day communication of the status of injured athletes to coaching staff.  - Make sure all NBA G League’s Medical Onboarding protocols are fulfilled in a timely manner for all players during the season.  - Document all player treatments and medical updates in league based EMR and any additional platforms as assigned in accordance to the NBA G League’s protocols.  - Electronically document accurate first report of injury, physician diagnosis, player assessments, player treatments, and return to play dates.  - Work with Team Doctor and Manager of Basketball Operations to schedule and coordinate all player medical appointments.  - Assign specific responsibilities to the assistant AT, physical therapists and other medical staff members.  - Manage and organize equipment, supplies, and medications 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲  - Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from an accredited athletic training program  - BOC certified as an Athletic Trainer  - CPR / First Aid certified  - Passion for high-performance sports and continuous professional development  - Proactive with exceptional problem-solving skills  - Ability to work within a multicultural environment  - Adaptable and flexible to a dynamic work environment and schedule  - Excellent interpersonal skills and talent for communicating (written and verbal) clear and effective messages to both nontechnical audiences and senior medical staff  - Desirable proficiency or prior knowledge of Spanish Share your resume to the following email: rrhh@capitanes.mx Please write your name and the position you are applying for in the subject line.

Además, Juanjolote, junto con las familias que nos acompañaron, fueron clave en propagar la alegría y gran actitud que enriqueció el ambiente en cancha de inicio a fin. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 - Provide medical coverage for all practices and  games, both in Mexico and while in the United States for the Mexico City Capitanes. - Work in the prevention, assessment, immediate care, treatment and rehabilitation / reconditioning of athletic injuries of players. - Appropriate organization and administration of athletic medical records as required by Head Athletic Trainer - Assist in the creation and execution of individualized injury risk reduction measures for players as assigned. - Collaborate with Head Athletic Trainer,  physical therapists and other relevant members of the staff to return athletes safely to participation - Assist in all players’ medical appointments scheduling and accompaniment as needed.. - Assist in the management and organization of equipment, supplies, and medications - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all training spaces. - Other duties as assigned by Head or Assistant Head Athletic Trainer.
