What a great experience at SMM last week in Hamburg! 🚢 We had the opportunity to demonstrate technical excellence with our partners, from individual components to entire ship systems and the whole ship ⚓ MTP: Thanks to our partner Semodia we showed how a hull MTP file can be transferred directly from engineering to automation. ⚓ Automation: Our partner Phoenix Contact read the MTP file directly into the MTP Designer to perform the module automation (PEA). ⚓ Bilge water system: Together with GEA, we demonstrated modular shipbuilding using an advanced bilge water system. ⚓ Ship operating technology: We (Eplan) showed the engineering and data handling in the entire ship and the individual systems. Together with Rittal GmbH & Co. KG we demonstrated the interaction of the system technology via Eplan through to the final documentation in the Rittal control cabinet. From engineering to operation, we took a holistic look at the future of shipbuilding. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
