Congratulations to our partner, Eve Air Mobility, on the remarkable milestones reported in their 3Q24 update! 🌟   Eve shared major highlights in advancing urban air mobility, including eVTOL program advancements with ongoing system integration and ground tests; the launch of Eve TechCare, an all-in-one service portfolio for eVTOL operations; a partnership with Embraer-CAE Training Services (ECTS) to train pilots, maintenance crews and ground handling personnel; secured funding to support the development of Eve’s production facility and eVTOL R&D; and an industry-leading backlog with up to 2,900 eVTOLs from 30 customers across 13 countries.   Latecoere is proud to support this progress through our work in designing and manufacturing passenger and pilot #doors for Eve’s eVTOL, enhancing safety, efficiency, and #sustainability from the ground up.   Bravo to the Eve team on these milestones, and here’s to even more achievements as we help shape the future of urban air mobility!   #UrbanAirMobility #eVTOL   Photo credit: Eve Air Mobility

A round of applause for our pioneers at #Toulouse-Montredon, France! 🎉 🇫🇷   Newly appointed Site Manager Maxime CELLIER and his relay partner Xavier Ding recently celebrated three teams who showcased their innovative projects in the latest #AllPioneersChallenge. While they didn’t claim the top prize, each participant received a commemorative kit – including a diploma to honor their pioneering spirit – because at Latecoere, every step forward in the journey of #innovation is a win. 🏅   This annual internal contest brought together over 40 teams from around the world to explore bold ideas in industrial optimization, sustainable initiatives, and more. Great news! 🇨🇦 Comtek Advanced Structures, a Latecoere Company, has been awarded the design-build contract for #composite floors on the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-6 Twin Otter Classic 300-G™. The scope includes the complete flooring system for cabin and cockpit areas.   De Havilland Canada’s DHC-6 #TwinOtter is an iconic twin #turboprop, 19-seat utility #airplane. The program has been a success for more than 50 years thanks to the airplane’s reliability and its versatility in cabin and landing gear configurations. This latest variant, the Classic 300-G™, launched in 2023, is the result of extensive consultation with customers to fine-tune the iconic aircraft for today’s passenger and special mission requirements.   Comtek’s history with De Havilland Canada aircraft goes back decades both in #flooring systems and structural #repair services. Read more over our website: https://lnkd.in/ddRXSQ_b
